“Where’s the best surf in Goa for beginners?”

The coastline in Goa provides the perfect surf for beginners as the beaches are vast and deserted, the winds are mellow and favorable, and the gentle waves are ideal when you’re learning how to balance. A surf lesson in Goa will typically last two hours, which includes a little bit of theory and safety, some practice on the beach, and then some time riding the Arabian waves.

You’ll find plenty of options for beginners surf as, in recent years, lots of Surf Schools have appeared up and down the coast as it’s become a popular spot for beginners to learn safely thanks to the mild conditions and swell.

“What beaches are good for surfing in Goa?”

You’ll find some of the best surf in Goa just minutes away from Kranti Yoga – Agonda Beach. If you’re looking for the best surf in Goa with a picturesque coast, look no further. Agonda Beach is mostly unspoiled, so it’s an ideal location for surfing in Goa if you want to immerse yourself in postcard perfect coastline as you catch some waves. Just a little bit further up the coast, and perhaps more of a day trip, are the popular surf locations of Arambol Beach and Ashvem Beach. There are a couple of surf schools here and it’s super easy to rent a surf board for the day. At Ashvem there is a beautiful lagoon where the river meets the sea, the sea is shallow and the waves gentle, coming in at around 50 meters long and 1-2 meters high, which provides the perfect conditions for beginners surfing.
